INTERESTING ARTICLES AND USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT SIP PANELS AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

SIP_PANELS

Houses made of SIP panels are well protected from heat loss and wind. It is important to pay attention not only to the choice of high-quality plastic windows, but also to provide for an entrance door with a thermal break. In these conditions, the owner of such a house has the opportunity to choose a heating option depending on personal preferences.

Possible heating options:

  1. Radiator is a system of equipment that runs on both electricity and gas. In terms of the complexity of implementation, this option is considered the simplest, but it cannot be called completely cheap due to the considerable prices for energy resources and materials. More modern technologies are much more convenient and often more profitable to use, but this classic type of heating is still in stable demand. In a house made of vulture panels, usually the pipes themselves, which are supplied to the radiators, are hidden behind the plasterboard cladding on the subsystem for the first floor, and for the second floor they are divorced under the ceiling of the first floor and hide behind a stretch ceiling.
  2. Air. This type of heating is based on receiving warm air from a special boiler and fan. Temperature regulation is possible by installing special thermostats. Due to the use of air purification filters, air heating can be considered the most modern and environmentally friendly. At the same time, the installation of such a heating system is the most difficult and expensive.
  3. Convection. In principle, this type of heating is similar to the radiator version, but instead of radiators, it involves the use of horizontal convectors. The cost of arranging the system is somewhat more expensive due to the higher price of the equipment. With high heating efficiency, many do not consider this option acceptable due to the high cost of operation and dry air, in the case of using low-quality economy class convectors.
  4. The "warm floor" system does not need free space and evenly heats the entire room, creates a certain feeling of additional comfort and coziness. Execution is possible in several versions - infrared (film) underfloor heating, floor heating with an electric cable, heating with a coolant in pipes located throughout the floor area. Infrared can lie under the topcoat, while other options require a screed. The disadvantages of such a system include relatively weak convection near the windows, in connection with which condensation may appear on the glass. In the presence of large windows, especially those that go all the way to the floor, it is recommended to use the convectors built into the screed, which will help prevent condensation on the windows.

All of these options are appropriate for sip heating at home.

Gas or electric heating?

This question, when choosing the optimal heating option, is also of great importance. Of course, this issue is resolved taking into account the selected heating equipment.

The installation of gas equipment requires obtaining permits, the development of schemes, the participation of specialists, the presence of a boiler room in the house, a certain area, the subsequent maintenance of gas equipment by qualified specialists.

An electric heating system does not require such large initial costs, it is somewhat easier to operate, but the cost of heating with electricity is generally higher than with gas.

In the case of an energy-efficient house made of vulture panels, the issue in favor of gas heating is not resolved as unambiguously as in construction using other technologies. Even using electric energy, heating costs are insignificant, so you need to calculate the economy on a case-by-case basis.

A correct assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of each of the options will help you make the right choice, but whatever choice you make, do not doubt that the house built using Canadian technology will be warm and comfortable!
